Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how Svanfríður Hagvaag (“Frida”, “I”) processes personal data in connection with fridahag.com. The business is not yet registered as a separate legal entity.
1. Data controller
Svanfríður Hagvaag, Bøstad, Lofoten, Norway. Contact: hei@fridahag.com.
2. What information is collected
- Contact form: name, business name, email address, and the message you write, sent via Formspree when you submit the form.
- Language preference: the site remembers whether you're reading it in Norwegian or English, stored locally in your browser (localStorage). This is not sent to any server.
- Analytics: no analytics tool is currently in use on the site.
3. Purpose of processing
Information from the contact form is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow up with a consulting offer. Information is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent when submitting the form (GDPR Article 6.1.a), and where relevant, legitimate interest in responding to enquiries directed at the business.
5. Retention period
Enquiries are stored for as long as necessary to follow up, then deleted within a reasonable time, normally within 12 months unless there is an ongoing client relationship.
6. Third parties
The contact form is processed via Formspree (third-party form handling service). Email is handled via Proton Mail. No information is shared beyond what's necessary for these services to function.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data, and the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet). Contact hei@fridahag.com to exercise your rights.
8. Cookies
The site does not use tracking cookies. The language preference is stored locally in your browser, not as a cookie sent to a server.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
